Passion 2022: Session Six – Christine Caine

Numbers 14:24

We are here on purpose for a purpose.

Two things we need to leave here with are: a different spirit and wholehearted obedience.

Number 13:1-15

You’re not here on accident. You’re here on purpose.

We have to leave this arena with a different spirit than the world.

God is looking for a generation of young people with a different spirit.

Ten leaders that we should have been talking about throughout history except they didn’t inherit the promise.

But Caleb did. It’s about you and your descendants.

It’s not just about us, it’s about the generations who are going to come after us.

Will the generations after you, will they be talking about you?

All the promises of Jesus are yes and amen.

The only difference between Caleb and the other guys was that he believed God.

Will you be one of the ten or will you be Caleb?

Numbers 13:17-25

It’s what we focus on that will determine our purpose and our destiny.

God was sending them out to find out how they were going to take the land.

Numbers 13:26-27

However (Numbers 13:28)

One “however” kept an entire generation out of their destiny.

Numbers 13:28-29

Would we be a generation that dares to focus on Jesus?

There’s the presence of Christ and his promise.

Numbers 13:30

We are well able to advance the gospel in our generation.

Greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world.

I’m looking for a generation who has a “we are well able” spirit.

What is impossible with man is possible with God.

We are well able.

We need a well able spirit.

Numbers 13:31-33

God said, “I’m giving you the land”.

When you loose sight of God you’ll seem like a grasshopper.

You’re not just a little grasshopper … we are created in the image of God.

Are we going to be a people of a different spirit and wholehearted obedience?

It’s not just about you it’s about our descendants.

We can all go in because of Jesus but a different spirit and wholehearted obedience is what it’s going to take.

I’m going to be like Caleb – wholehearted obedience. I’m going in in Jesus’ name. ________________________________________

Finding Me In The Story of Thee

Let’s take a cue that this is your time.

Let’s not assume that we have decades ahead of us.

Let’s decide tonight what our lives are going to be.

Who am I and more importantly why am I here?

What is the purpose of my life?

How do I find my story?

Is there a book that can tell my story?

You have to either write Him off or write Him in.

Luke 4:14-22

Jesus is the living Word of God.

He said, “I find the story of me in the story of Thee.”

The story of you is already in this story.

Your story is in His story.

All of our stories are in one book.

Why is it good news to find me in the story of Thee?

1. This story, His story, is the story that tells you who you truly are.

Your true identity is found in this story.

Luke 3:21-22 …“You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”

Your identity isn’t something to achieve.

In Christ you are holy.

2. This story tells me what I’m here for.

This is the story that tells you what your ultimate purpose is.

My life is for His glory.

He created me and he created you.

3. This story blows away any story you could write for yourself.

God is laughing at your dreams tonight.

He sees it all.

His story is bigger and better than whatever you’re thinking.

I am here for a purpose which is to give glory to God.

This story is going to blow your mind.

4. It puts you in the story with the very best ending.

In this story death dies.

In this story we all may fail but the king of this story will prevail and he is inviting you.

Passion 2022: Session Five – Jennie Allen

Hebrews 12:1-2

Throw off the weight and sin that so easily entangles.

Weight – are circumstances you can’t control.

Sin

Scripture tells us we can throw those two things off (weight and sin).

The problem with sin – it never shrinks, it only grows.

We all have it.

We’re supposed to live completely different (than the world).

What if we’re sitting in sin like it’s no big deal?

Satan wants to destroy us.

There’s this thing that the enemy says to us and it’s called “shame”.

1 John 1:9

The word confession is to say the truth of our sin.

Guess where the devil has all the power. In the dark.

We build walls in our shame and we separate ourselves.

If heaven is real and Jesus is coming, what are we pretending for?

Romans 8:1

We’re so good at condemnation.

There’s a reason we hide.

What if you said it out loud?

1 John 1:7

What if we could say the things we’re afraid to say?

What if we were the safest people in the world to share brokenness?

There is something, a weight or a sin, that you are afraid to share.

So, what if you just said it out loud. What would happen?

We’re going to say it out loud.

Our God is real.

It’s worth saying it out loud.

Throwing it off is possible.

It’s not our confession that saves us, it’s our confession that heals us.

There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Passion 2022: Session One – Tim Tebow

These are the notes I got from Tim Tebow’s talk on, “Mission Possible”.

Every single one of us have been given a mission. And that mission is possible.

Macro purpose – to love God and to love people.

Micro purpose – something designed only for you.

In Christ Jesus you are a masterpiece.

To God everyone matters.

Mark 4:35-41

Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.

Mark 5:15-19

God’s plan is so much better than our plan.

Have you ever told anyone how much Jesus has done for you?

John 3:16

I nailed Jesus to the cross.

I believe that God has sent you here for a mission.

It is possible that your life can count for Jesus because of the good works he has in store for you.

As long as you have breath you have a mission.

How will you respond?

Behold the Lamb of God who took away my sin.

I believe that God has a special mission for you.

John 13:1

God has given us a mission. Will you respond?
