Reminded of a series on Nehemiah by LifeChurch.tv
It’s been that kind of week. Dreary outside, reminders from Satan of your past, and just life. It’s Satan and he continues to attack..he’s got his way a couple times but he’s not going to win. He’s going down, banished to the corner, and being chased down by me and others I know of who are being attacked as well.
If he is after you too right now know that you’re not alone. Join us and stand with us. Reach out to a friend, share what’s happening, and be encouraged because with God and others by your side you can continue to stand.
I was thinking about this earlier and a series that LifeChurch.tv did not too long ago on Nehemiah came to mind. It was a series on opposition and how the people continued to build the wall even though they were being attacked and put down by those who didn’t want the wall to be completed. This applies well to us right now because just like they were being opposed, so are we.
- “We don’t face opposition because we’re doing something wrong, we face it because we’re doing something right.” – Craig Groeschel
- But they were scheming to harm me; so I sent messengers to them with this reply: “I am carrying on a great project and cannot go down. Why should the work stop while I leave it and go down to you?” Nehemiah 6:2-3
Don’t let Satan get to you. Allow this to be an opportunity to grow and become stronger. Remind him that you’re busy and can’t come down. Remember that you’re facing him because you’re doing something right.
This series really does have a lot to offer in it. These two quotes are part of it but there is so much more you can learn and gain from it. If you are struggling with spiritual warfare and attacks from Satan, or just want to learn more check out Change Your World In 52 Days, a four week series (30 min messages) on Nehemiah.
