I was thinking about this earlier and a series that LifeChurch.tv did not too long ago on Nehemiah came to mind. It was a series on opposition and how the people continued to build the wall even though they were being attacked and put down by those who didn’t want the wall to be completed. This applies well to us right now because just like they were being opposed, so are we.

• “We don’t face opposition because we’re doing something wrong, we face it because we’re doing something right.” – Craig Groeschel

• But they were scheming to harm me; so I sent messengers to them with this reply: “I am carrying on a great project and cannot go down. Why should the work stop while I leave it and go down to you?” Nehemiah 6:2-3

Don’t let Satan get to you. Allow this to be an opportunity to grow and become stronger. Remind him that you’re busy and can’t come down. Remember that you’re facing him because you’re doing something right.

Does this sound familiar to you? Maybe you’ve been doing these conferences/revival along with me and you’re facing this trouble as well with Satan attacking you. What do you do when he comes after you? How do you remain in a spot where he can’t get you while also realizing you can’t just conference hop all the time too?

For me I’ve just come to expect his attacks the day after the big event ends and also on dreary days. Being prepared and expectant is definitely helpful. It doesn’t mean he leaves right away but knowing what to do when he comes, just like knowing First Aid or what to do during a Tornado, is definitely helpful.

So what do you do when Satan comes your way? Is he attacking you too? Check out some of these ideas and see if they can help you. -

• Stay close to God. – Continue reading your Bible, prayer, small group, church services, and other things you’re regularly involved in.
• Remind Satan of who you are in Christ.
• Remember John 10:10 and tell him behind you because you’re God has come to bring you life.
• Recite scripture.
• Talk to a trusted Christian friend for prayer and/or accountability.
• Tell Satan to start running because you’re chasing him down.
• Get plenty of rest, eat right, sleep right, exercise.

• Touched
• He doesn’t want to divide you. He wants to multiply you.
• Relationship has touch in it.
• God so loved the world that he might save people.
• By His stripes we are healed.
• His name is Emmanuel – the dwell with me God.
• I am valuable because Jesus died for me.
• Just because man can’t do it doesn’t mean it can’t do it. It’s a job for Jesus.

• The nature and the quality of our life comes from within us.

Matthew 12:35, Philippians 2:13,

• It’s not the wind. It’s the set of the sail of our heart.
• God’s got greater things in mind for our future.
• Turn emotion into devotion and make some real life commitments.

• The longer we’re with God the fewer friends we have that are far from God.
• Do what you love to do but do it with more non-believers. Its all about reaching others.

• Fling the ring…and understand that the rope is attached to the church.

Hosea 4:6 -  my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. “Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.

• Your actions of righteousness or unrighteousness will have an impact on your children

Psalm 103:7, 2 Timothy 1:5, 1 Kings 15,

• God may be blessing you because somebody stored up some mercy.
• Sometimes we’ve just gotta touch the old bones with prayer.
• Sometimes we’ve just gotta touch the old bones of revival.
• Sometimes we’ve just gotta touch the old bones and fall on our face.
• When the new generation touches the old bones, revival comes.
• All great things have small beginnings.
